Australia recorded 787.5 megawatts of solar installations in the third quarter of 2021, with a stable increase of 1.72% compared to the same quarter of the previous year. Of the total installations, 61% were in the 0-10kW category, with Peter Maganiotis emerging as the top installer. 10-30kW installations accounted for 28% and were predominantly carried out by Sunboost, while the remaining 12% were in the 30kW+ category, with AGL being the primary installer.
Sunboost took the lead in the total market share, surpassing Peter Maganiotis with a volume of 22 megawatts, representing 2.8% of the market.
Queensland saw the highest number of solar panel installations, accounting for 26.5% of the market volume, totalling 208.9 megawatts.
