Australia only recorded a total of 734.5 megawatts of solar systems installed in the third quarter of 2022, marking a 7% decline from the same quarter of previous year. Of the total installations, 83% were in the Residential (0-15kW) category, the Small-Commercial (15-40kW) installations accounted for 11% with Sunboost emerging as the top installer in these segments. while the remaining 6% were in the Medium-Commercial (40-100kW) category, with AGL being the primary installer.
Sunboost took the lead in the total market share, surpassing Solargain with a volume of 22.8 megawatts, representing 3.11% of the market. Formbay Trading remains the top STC trader.
NSW holds the highest number of solar panel installations, accounting for 30.66% of the market volume, totalling 225.2 megawatts.
